Keep Your Strap Looking Its Best, Canvas and sailcloth are the most low-maintenance straps you'll ever own — no conditioning, no special products, no routine. Just a little attention when it needs it.
- When It Gets Dirty: Remove from your watch, wet with lukewarm water, work in a few drops of mild soap with your thumbs or a soft toothbrush, rinse thoroughly, and lay flat to air dry. That's all it takes.
- After Salt Water or Ocean Use: Give it a quick rinse with fresh water to prevent salt crystals building up in the weave.
- The Golden Rule: Never use hot water, a hairdryer, or a tumble dryer — heat damages the nylon fibres. Air dry only, always.
- Avoid: Harsh chemicals, bleach, and perfumes — these can discolour the weave over time.
